Vaginal Shaving Resolved

Technically, there is no such thing as vaginal shaving. So what we're really referring to is shaving the pubic hairs around the vagina and any stray hairs just inside the edge of the major labia lips. But to keep it simple, we'll refer to this hair removal process as vaginal shaving.

Some believe that pubic hair protects the vagina from bacteria as well as friction. Others believe that this pubic hair actually breeds bacteria, which causes unpleasant vaginal odors. And as far as, (negative ...), friction goes - If a female is shaving her vaginal area regularly to eliminate stubble, there isn't any.

Females who are into vaginal shaving say they do it because it makes them feel not only cleaner and fresher, but also look cleaner and more attractive. An added bonus is that they no longer get hairs caught in panty liners or the leg bands of underwear or bathing suits.

Very good reasons for vaginal shaving.

But - If a female is totally honest, she'll tell you she's into vaginal shaving because there's nothing like a smooth vaginal area to heighten sensitivity and responsiveness.

And, especially if your partner prefers a silky, smooth vaginal area, they will tell you there's only one thing worse than a hairy vaginal area - And that's one that's stubbly or scabby from vaginal shaving.

So you really need to learn all you can about vaginal shaving. And hopefully this information will give you what you need.

Vaginal shaving can be done while in the tub or shower. One leg up, supported by something that is not slippery, is one position. Some females prefer to use a closed toilet seat. Others find it easiest to reach all of the vaginal area for shaving while actually seated on the toilet.

Start shaving the vaginal area in the direction the hair grows. Begin at the the back of the vagina, do the sides and then the front.

After you've removed the bulk of hairs, go back over the area, only this time shave against the way the hair grows. This will give you the closest, cleanest shave you're looking for.

Don't apply too much pressure or shave the same area repeatedly, which will irritate this sensitive skin.

Note: When it comes to shaving the hairs just inside of the major labia lips of the vaginal area, you'll need to gently pull and flatten this looser skin taut with one hand as you s-l-o-w-l-y move the razor across with the other. BE CAREFUL.

If you follow these tips, your next vaginal shaving with a wet razor should go smoothly.

The only thing that could make vaginal shaving any better is using a better tool than a wet razor.
