Good Guidelines For Testicle Shaving

One can only hope that a male's anatomy is well enough known to realize that there is more than just one testicle and even one testicle can't be shaved. So what we're really referring to here is pubic hair being shaved on the scrotum, or testicle sac. Using a regular electric shaver is not even an option for shaving your testicles. Those rotary blades especially will pull your hair and tear you up, unless specifically designed for testicle shaving.

Don't even attempt shaving your testicles unless you're totally awake, alert and straight. Shaving this area is not like shaving anywhere else on your body. You need your wits about you. Enough said.

Other males prefer to just stay in the tub and use Tea Tree, Mink, or just straight mineral oil to make their scrotum slick so their razor just glides easily while shaving their testicles.

A new, clean and fresh blade in your razor is a must EVERY TIME you shave your scrotum. A dull blade will pull and tear your hairs, which is the number one reason skin irritations occur. And be sure to thoroughly rinse your razor's blade clean after each stroke.

Now - Gently, stretch and flatten the skin of your scrotum with your free hand and start shaving your testicles towards the inner thigh with the other. Don't repeat strokes in any one area and don't press down on the razor. The skin of your scrotum is paper thin and very soft so it will bleed very badly if you aren't very careful.

After shaving your testicles, rinse off any remaining lubricant with warm water. Then, soothe this now aggravated skin by rinsing with cool water.

Pat dry your scrotum with a clean, soft towel.

Lightly dust your scrotum with a talc free powder or cornstarch to absorb moisture and oils after shaving your testicles and to keep it from itching between shaves.

To prevent any further irritation to your now raw skin after shaving your testicles, limit as much friction as possible. Think about doing your shaving at night when you can just climb into bed with nothing on, or at least wear some loose fitting boxer shorts for a while.

If you start shaving your testicles regularly, the stubble from hairs growing in won't get a chance to get itchy.
