Pubes: "The lower part of the abdomen just above the external genital organs". By this definition, one would think that only males have pubes. Thing is, today, the word 'pubes' has come to be slang for the pubic area of both males and females. And both males and females enjoy smoothly shaved pubes. Don't you?

Trim down any longer hairs to a stubble with scissors or a hair trimmer. Don't dull your razor's blade shaving these longer hairs. And a short stubble will make it easier to see where you're shaving.

Always thoroughly moisturize your skin and hair before shaving your pubes. Take a nice, long, hot shower or soak in a bath. Moisturizing your skin and hair this way will soften the hairs and open the follicles which will help your razor cut the hairs cleanly and closely for those smoothly shaved pubes you're after.

Apply alot of a rich, moisturizing lubricant, allow it to sit on your hair and skin for at least 5 minutes, and make sure you have plenty of the stuff as you're shaving.

Shave your pubes with the direction the hair grows. Then shave again, against the direction the hair grows. This will provide those smoothly shaved pubes.

As long as you don't apply too much pressure or make any more repeated strokes than absolutely necessary when shaving, your shaved pubes will end up with smooth skin.

Pubes just naturally stay moist and receive a lot of friction.

You can increase the chances of keeping your skin smooth after you've shaved your pubes, if you lightly dust the entire pubic region with a talc free powder or plain cornstarch and wear loose fitting clothing for a while after shaving.

Attention females: Your pubes may become very sensitive at certain times of the month. Schedule around these times for the best results for your shaved pubes.
