Something you probably already have around like mineral oil, will work great. NOT baby oil. Because even though baby oil is mineral oil it has "fragrances" which will irritate your penis skin.

Do you ALWAYS make sure you have a new, clean blade in your razor before you shave your penis?

Nothing will irritate this sensitive skin more than a dull blade. Remember, it's called shaving, not scraping.

If your penis is not already erect, do you gently pull up on it to make shaving easier and shave your penis on all sides?

Do you shave your penis in the same direction the hair grows?

After you've removed the bulk of hairs, you can go back and shave against the way the hair grows to give you the close, clean shave you're wanting.
