A Piece Of Advice About Penis Shaving

An increasing number of males are penis shaving. No, we're not talking about shaving around the penis on the pubic mound, but actually shaving the penis proper.

And 'proper' is the operative word here. Because penis shaving is not about scraping a razor across the penile skin, but about learning how to shave your penis properly to obtain the best results. A smooth, bump free hairless penis.

Penis shaving isn't really hard to learn, but it does take some time, commitment on your part to follow through and a willingness to practice. Because it's very rare that a male can move a sharp blade across every part of his penis without irritating this sensitive skin the first time. Or even the first few times.

For those of you who are ready, able and willing to commit yourself to learning proper penis shaving, here are the basics:

NEVER attempt penis shaving unless you're totally straight. You don't even want to hear the horror stories about what happened to males who started shaving their penis when they were, "under the influence".

ALWAYS trim long hairs down to a short stubble before penis shaving. It makes it easier to see where you're shaving and it saves on your razor's blade.

ALWAYS moisturize your skin and hair before penis shaving. If it's not convenient to take a long, hot shower or bath, at least apply a hot-as-you-can-stand-it washcloth for several minutes. This will make shaving your penis much easier because the hairs will be softer and the follicles will be more open.

ALWAYS apply a generous amount of a rich lubricant that doesn't contain any harsh chemicals. And allow this to sit on your hair and skin for 3-5 minutes before shaving your penis.

Now - If your penis is not already erect, gently pull upwards on it to make it easier to shave.

ALWAYS take your time and shave slowly. A slow shave will yield a better shave.

ALWAYS start your penis shaving in the direction the hair grows, making sure you shave all sides. Once you've removed the bulk of the hairs, then you can go back and shave against the way the hair grows. This will give you the clean, smooth shave you're after.

NEVER shave the same area more than this second time.

NEVER apply too much pressure.

The last thing you want is a razor burn from penis shaving.

These then are the basics for proper penis shaving.

If you're not willing to take the time to practice these few steps and follow through, (because remember, it will take some time and practice to get the hang of this), penis shaving might not be for you.
