The art of shaving the genital area is not a hard one to learn. It just takes some practice.

Apply a generous amount of your favorite lubricant to further soften the stubble and lock in moisture. This will also cause the hairs to stand erect, which will aid in shaving the genital area.
Always, always, always use a clean, fresh bade in your razor whenever you're shaving the genital area. A dull blade is the number one cause of skin irritations from shaving.
First shave in the direction the hair grows. Then you can shave in the opposite direction.

Now lightly dust the area with a talc free powder or just regular cornstarch. This will help absorb any moisture and oils.
Wearing loose clothing for a short while after shaving your genital area will limit friction and therefore, irritations.
